Listening is free. So is your first song, and if a song can't go live, your money comes back (App Store: see Refunds).

What the submission fee pays for
A person checks that your song is genuine, yours to submit and safe for listeners, then adds it to the catalogue the daily seven are drawn from. We never judge whether a song is good. The fee does not buy approval, placement, likes, plays or listeners. If your song cannot go live, you get the whole fee back, and any credits you used; on the App Store, Apple decides the refund, and if Apple says no, your next submission is free. Credits
One credit is worth ₹7 off a song submission. Take up to ₹154 (22 credits) off every song, and choose whether to use them at checkout. Any you don't use keep for your next song. If a song cannot go live, the credits you used come back with the refund. Credits land in your account the moment they are earned.

Credits have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold or paid out, and they end if you delete your account. See the Terms of Service, section 6.
How you pay
Payments are in Indian rupees and processed by Razorpay. You can pay by UPI, debit or credit card issued in India, netbanking or a wallet. The price shown before you pay is the full amount: no tax or fee is added at checkout. Each payment is one-off. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews.
In the Life of Art apps for iPhone and Android, you pay through the App Store or Google Play when you tap Submit, at the price the store shows in your store's currency. With 22 credits, the app offers a lower store price (₹249 in India). See the Terms of Service, clause 5.8.
