Delete your Life of Art account

You can do it yourself in the app, in under a minute.

In the app

1. Sign in to Life of Art at lifeofart.app.
2. Open Me from the menu.
3. Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

By email

If you cannot sign in, or you no longer have the app, email support.lifeofart@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with "Delete my account" in the subject line. We confirm your request within 24 hours and delete the account within 7 days.

What is deleted

Your sign-in account, your profile and preferences, your likes and saved songs, your submissions and the feedback you sent are deleted straight away. Your credits end.

As the IT Rules require, we keep your registration details (your email address, account identifier, sign-in method and the date you joined) for 180 days, only for investigation by lawful authorities. They are deleted within a week after that. Nothing about what you listened to or liked is kept in that record.

What is kept, and for how long

• Approved songs you submitted stay listed unless you ask us to remove them. We remove them within 15 days of your request.
• Usage events and diagnostics are linked only to a random account identifier and are deleted or anonymised within 12 months of being recorded.
• Song reports and referral, credit and gift records are deleted or anonymised within 12 months.
• Backup copies are kept for no more than 90 days.
• Registration details are kept for 180 days, as described above.
• Any other information the law requires us to keep is kept only for the period and purpose the law sets.
